Named in honor of the founders relative who passed down the recipe to making the perfect Hakka noodles.
2When did Uncle Kin first established?
It is first established in 2015 April at Queensbay Mall.
3How many branches do you have and where is it located?
We currently have 7 outlets in Penang and are still expanding. Here’s our store location:
- Queenshall at Level 3, Queensbay Mall, Penang
- Just Food at Level 5, Gurney Paragon, Penang
- Raja Uda Shop – No.7307, Jalan Raja Uda, Taman Anggerik, Butterworth

4Is Uncle Kin Chili Pan Mee available across Malaysia?
No, currently we have outlets in Penang only, but we’ll be expanding soon to nationwide. Stay tuned!
5What are the operating hours?
All outlets’ operating hours is 10:30am to 9:30pm except Tesco outlet is 9:30am – 10:00pm; whereas our Raja Uda outlet is opened daily from 10.00am to 9.30pm
6Is Uncle Kin Chili Pan Mee available for delivery?

7Where does your recipe comes from?
Our recipe is inherited by the founder’s relative named Uncle Kin, where he strives for bringing authentic and high-quality Hakka noodles to the people.
8Are your noodles handmade?
Yes, our noodles are all handmade, rolled out fresh daily and cut using a machine to achieve that springy and chewy texture.
9Is Uncle Kin Chili Pan Mee certified Halal?
No, but we are pork-free restaurant with possession of certificate by our chicken supplier proving that our chicken is slaughtered in Halal way.
10What do you serve other than Chili Pan Mee?
We only serve Chili Pan Mee with choice of Dry or Soup, Spicy or Non-Spicy.
11Does Uncle Kin Chili Pan Mee sell their Uncle Kin Golden Chili Flakes sauce in bottle?
Yes, we do. It is only priced at RM13.90/bottle.
12Do you offer franchise for your business?
Currently no, but in the future maybe yes as we now want to focus in stabilizing our business first.
